He is a graphics master who has generously helped many in the community with his skill and expertise including the designs for the BVOC logo and banner. Salty or “Woody” as I call him is a scambaiter who deserves the recognition bestowed upon him. I am proud to call him a friend and a fellow fighter in the war against scammers.”
Salty Dogg’s Beginning
Salty Dogg began as a gamer and about a year ago started uploading his scambaiting videos. He began his adventure in scambaiting when his mother was scammed out of 7k. He states,” While I was looking around, about trying to help her get her money back, I found some YouTube videos. The first one and still one of my favorites was DeyO. I saw his numbers bacteria and was instantly hooked”. He says DeyO was a huge influence on him, “He is such an all-around great person.” He says, “After some drama I was ready to hang it up and figured that I didn’t belong in the community. Stonewulf changed my mind and kept me going and didn’t let me give up. I owe a huge thanks to him. And Stone, “Yes we still need more content”. After DeyO he found Wenja and it was off to the races. He thought, “I don’t have to be nice to these criminals”. Wenja gave him the inspiration to be himself. Salty Dogg says that still today new faces are coming along that inspire him like ScamFlix, Scambait TV, FunGuyMedia, Chester Draws and others.
The Style Of Salty Dogg
This is what Salty Dogg had to say about his style of scambaiting, “I can’t really pinpoint what my style would be. I’ve been told I’m too mean to the scammers at times, But let’s be honest are they going to be nice to us? Go Broke or Be mean… I’ll be mean every time. But my style is more of the Golden Rule, Treat others how you want to be treated. Of course, I love to prey on their ignorance of English and our culture.”
Salty adds, “I honestly do not do this for the money, if this was to support my family, I’d be uploading cell phone videos from a tent on the side of I-285 in Atlanta. I work 6 days a week and cram to get anything uploaded. I do try though.”
Salty adds as a final message, “If someone is just starting scambaiting, or starting something new to them and I can help I’m just a message away.”
He donates all his funds from merch and ad sense revenue…
