CorasAtHerCorner started her channel back in 2006 or 2007 where she made WWE fan videos. She did post a couple of videos scambaiting before February 2021, but she started keeping up with posting weekly in February. She says her biggest influences are Trilogy Media and Kitboga. Describing her style as “Vulgar lol! Comedic and Improvising!”
Close Call With A Scam
CorasAtHerCorner says, ‘Back at the end of 2014 the restaurant I was working at was closing down. I needed a job. Care.com was a website I used as a nanny looking for babysitting. Through this website I got an email from someone claiming to be a single mom who needed a nanny for her child. She also needed someone to run errands for her. She said would send me a check. I told them yes but before they could send out a check, my husband intervened. He said not to accept because it sounded like a scam. I decided to set a trap by sending another email from another state. If they accepted then they had to be a scam. Sure, enough they accepted and I knew for a fact it was a scam and I was pissed!’
Her Beginning
At the end of 2016 Cora started babysitting and came across PettyPranks‘ video Scammer Calls Prankster- Microsoft Tech Support Scam and thought it was hilarious! She told her husband about it and he said there were people on YouTube that prank scammers! She says” I got curious and looked for more. I came across Trilogy Media and Kitboga and instantly subscribed.”
She started getting scam calls again while babysitting in 2016 so she would answer them just to mess with them. She never thought about recording because she didn’t have the right equipment. It wasn’t until February 2021 that she decided to start recording the calls. She now had the appropriate equipment but her character “Tony Tony Tony” was therapeutic and helped her through the loss of her son in 2019. “It was the therapists suggestion; I needed to do something to help occupy my mind and help me get my identity back, besides just being a mom.”
Cora would like fans to know that she is an author and released her first book in October 2021.
