Chester Draws first got into the scam baiting in early 2021 just after one of his elderly relatives were scammed. He then started watching Jim Browning and others to see how to fight back. He says, “For some reason I started to get the HMRC calls (equivalent of SSA calls in US) and decided to see what would happen if I pushed button 1.

Getting Into Scambatiing

I was introduced to recording YouTube videos by Dan Gleeballs and came up with the name Chester Draws. I used the alter egos of Toby Lerone (a popular chocolate confectionery), Karl Hickbread (garlic bread) and Jack Coosto (when I wanted to go after the phishers)”. He adds, “Working in collaboration with Dan Gleeballs and Toni Mosh we concentrated on getting bank account details from the scammers who wanted us to transfer our money into these accounts. Dan recently collected his 100th UK bank account where money was being laundered”. Chester then began to expand his reach to North American scambaiters “too many to mention” to grow his access to scammer numbers. He says, “I don’t have the technical skills but I recently started letting scammers get into my virtual machine to see what they would do. I record these interactions to share with the wider community. It was during one of these interactions that a mysterious notepad message appeared on my screen – “thank you Boda for looking out for me”.

As far as a style he says, “I just want to waste as much time as I can with the scammers and hopefully deliver a product that educates as well as entertains”.

Hey guys Boda here. One day I was browsing through a scammers files. I came across a text file with some anydesk logins. So, I connected to see if they were active. One was active, but I quickly realized that the computer was not a normal one. I often come across other scambaiters in information that I gather, but I recognized this one, So I left a friendly message in notepad for him.
